Agenda:

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Fundamentals
Simple secrets no one probably ever told you. We will explore composition and lighting techniques that will change the way you approach photography. Whether you use a DSLR or your phone to take pictures, after this session alone, your photography should improve by over 90%.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch
You're on your own for lunch. But if you wish, we could grab lunch together and talk more about photography.

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Master your camera
If you are using your DSLR in Auto mode, then you are not harnessing the full potential of your camera. It's like having a Ferrari and driving it on first gear the whole time! After this session, you will not use the Auto mode again in your life. Instead, you'll learn how to use Aperture, Shutter, and ISO creatively to make every photo you take a masterpiece.

2:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Post Processing
The pros post-process every picture. You'll learn why this is important, and exactly how to process your pictures step-by-step using Lightroom.

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Recipes & Critiquing:
We'll look at some nice pictures and discuss how exactly those shots were taken. We'll also look at some of your own pictures and discuss what worked and what you could have done differently.

5:30: PM - 6:00 PM: Q & A Session

What to Bring:

  1. Your camera
The sessions are designed to be interactive, and you will be using your camera for various exercises throughout the day.

  2. Your laptop
Please download and install the trial version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom before coming to the workshop (if you don't already have it). Don't forget to bring the power supply for your laptop.

  3. Your three best shots
Please bring three pictures that you shot yourself that you are proud of. Have them saved on your laptop somewhere. We will use them during the critique session.
